The above stained glass pictures were created by Cara Jensen who is one of the finest stained glass makers in Utah. Cara has taken three years of 3-D Art in her Sophomore, Junior and senior years of High School at Orem High School in Utah. She took a stained glass class six times within those three years.
Cara has produced a project entitled " Masha Comanche" which means "Great Magic Beast" and is a 4 feet by 4 feet stained glass piece of a tiger. This was entered in the Utah State fair, subsequently winning the Best of Show award and second place in the People's Choice award. It was featured in a local newspaper, the Daily herald, on September 18th and september 19th, 1995.
The next major project was a 3 feet by 5 feet stained glass window depicting a Timber Wolf which is the mascot of the Timpanogos High School here in Orem, Utah. This was commissioned by the School's principal and won first place in the Utah State Fair.
Cara currently works as a professional stained glass artist and also teaches both a beginner's and advanced stained glass class for the City of Orem. She is available to do custom work, especially stained glass pictures of temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
